Last week I got the “unlimited ciniworld card” which means I can watch as many films as I like! This opens a great opportunity to start a new section alongside my book reviews; movie reviews.
I’m a great fan of movies, taking particular interest to horrors and thrillers. Every now and then I like to mix things up.
CHRISTMAS WITH THE COOPERS.
SYNOPSIS: When four generations of the Cooper clan come together for their annual Christmas Eve celebration, a series of unexpected visitors and unlikely events turn the night upside down, leading them all toward a surprising rediscovery of family bonds and the spirit of the holiday.
To start of with all the family is in separate parts of America and you get a glimpse of all their lives. The movie starts promising with some heart felt moments.
Unfortunately the story didn’t built up to I climax and was pretty predictable. For a Christmas film it would be nice as a sit down watch.
Strangely I saw a child around 5 when it wasn’t exactly appropriate, so I’d advise for adults or 13+.
I’d rate the film overall a 5 out of 10 stars, as it could have gone further than it did, and could have been more dramatic/memorable. I don’t think I’d sit and watch it again.
Review will be up tomorrow 5pm.
Physical copies of books are on the rise. The sales have rissn by 10%!
Waterstones are stopping selling e-readers, to just focus on selling paper and hardbacks.
Apparently it’s due to the rise of young readers, IT MAKES ME SOOO HAPPY!!!!!
So maybe reading will loose it stigma of being “weird” or just for “bofins”
Author: E. L. Jame
Genre: Erotic romance
First things first… Grey actually has feelings, Which are shown continuously throughout the book. It was obviously very similar to Fifty Shades of Grey, seen as it’s the same book from a different point of view!
The 4th installment answered alot of questions, everyone was dying know! Such as Christian really works! This installment offers readers to get truly invested into the characters lives and understand them more.
Lucky E.L.James’ writing has developed over the past few years, as her development is clear throughout the book. Her writing style has certainly improved.
I’d rate this book 4 stars, as it’s well written and offers greater insight into Christians life, which all us nosey people love! I definitely recommend Grey!
Happy reading 🙂

Wow. Wow. Wow
My favourite yet! I’m so so glad this is only part 1 that means there is more to come!
Most girls dream of a beautiful boy to move into your flat. When no other candidates fit her likings, her mind turns to Rory. The hunky boy that responded to her ad.
It’s clear to see that Keira has a thing for Rory from the beginning. When he starts rejecting her, and trying to make her jealous she gives as good as she gets. She soon starts to ask Rory for advise about asking a boy out, but does he know she’s really talking about him.
It’s another 5 stars from me, so Please, please go give this book a read! You won’t be disappointed.
Happy reading 😉

Cloudy With A Chance Of Sex
Well… you definitely can’t be sensitive for this read. It’s very erotic but such an entertaining read.
It all starts as a prank in the park but things escalate, who takes their clothes off first? The weather presenter or a passerby?
It brings fun in the office to a whole new level, and if this happened in real life The government would be outraged, that is what makes it such a fun and mouth dropping read.
It’s definitely the most risky book I’ve read by Ivy.
I gave this short read 3 stars, and recommend to the well read eroticas.
Happy reading 😉

*For mature audiences*
No words can describe how brilliant Ivys wrighting is! I thought book 1 was excellent, but 2 & 3 are even better!
Penny definitely gave into temptation in these two books! Both books you watch Penny and Professor Hunters relationship rise and fall! From steam steam steam, all the way to heart breaks and steam!
Penny and prof. Hunters date, will definitely put anyone elses to shame! All the secrets start to come out, and they will definitely keep you guessing right to the end.
Book number 3 by far leaves you on a cliff hanger – Will prof. Hunter and Pennys relationship survive?
Not to worry because “The Hunted- Addiction” is now available on Amazon!
Don’t miss out! I’ve given all this series 5 stars. I definitely recommend. Ivy has a brilliant way of writing and shaping each character, in all her short stories. Definitely check them out!
Happy reading 🙂

14) the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
15) Paper Towns

16) The Three
17) Hollow City
I read the book in 2 days, and absolutely loved it! I only bought it because I wanted to watch the film.
The DUFF was so gripping and written in such a brilliant way, that I couldn’t put it down.
You really get involved with the characters, and they always give you such a laugh!
Unfortunately the film did no wonders for me. I expected the book to movie interpretation to be alot more accurate, but they’re nothing alike.
I could only pick differences: *spoilers sections* (skip to normal).
Bianca’s Dad isn’t around, and the part in the book where they have an argument, makes it alot more emotional.
Wesley in the book, is rich and lives in a mansion- in the film Bianca and Wesley live nextdoor to each other and they’ve known each other since childhood.
Sadly I think the idea of Bianca and Wesley living next to each other ruins the concepts of the book. I also wish that the Dad part from the book was included, because it forms a major part in the book.
On the bright side, I did love the ending of the film, in comparison to the book. It was alot more heart warming and exciting.
I’d give the book 4.5 🌟🌟🌟🌟Gold stars.
I’d give the film 4 silver stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hey! Today I’m trying a If you like this, then you’ll like this blog.
These were my favourite reads of the month! (March).
If you liked Ivy smoak The hunted. You’ll like ‘losing it’ by Cora Carmack .
My hunted review gives a brief of the story, which you can find here
Losing it, I haven’t managed to review yet, on the basis it’s equally similar to The Hunted. The beginning is alot more exciting and the whole arrangement of the proffessor, and lover mixes really well.
Because the protagonist in the book is a virgin, which is given away in the cover; She comes up with stupid excuses to why she chickened out on something when they met in a night club, I don’t want to give too much away so you’ll have to read it to see!
But there’s also a triadic romance in both of them, which is really exciting.
I gave both short stories 5 stars! And highly recommend them!
