How to make friends as an introvert: Review

image

I won this book via library thing member giveaway for a honest review.

I liked this book written by Nate Nicholson especially because I’m an introvert myself so this book is very relatable.

Because I suffer with extreem anxiety, and insecurities books like this often give me a little hope and confidence. I enjoy seeing that I’m not the only person  who actually links in with introvert characteristics.

I’d give it ⭐⭐⭐ 3 silver stars, because I wouldn’t say it’s changed how I see myself, or how I plan to start talking to strangers/ keeping up conversation. I would recommend the book to people who feel they need a little confidence boost, and like self help!

Happy reading 🙂

  1. Have you read “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking” by Susan Cain? I watched her Ted talk and it was very interesting, I’m thinking about getting the book.

  2. I saw that book and was wondering how it was. I’m an introvert, too. Not sure if it looks inspiring enough for me to pick up, but I liked reading your review!

  3. I’m a complete introvert, inside and out. It’s good to see you share your thoughts on a book like this as I personally love reading these type of books and I have trouble with a lot of things, being as introverted as I am.

  4. I never would have guessed from your blog that you are an introvert. It is, I think rather a brave thing for you to share with your readers. There is an old saying that “empty vessels make the most noise” or, to put it another way, “it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing”. Sometimes it is the quiet or introverted who have something of significance to say while those who shout loudest frequently have nothing or little to contribute. You do have something to say Iand I enjoy your blog because of that. Kevin
